Our Church

Fundamental Baptist Church (FBC) is an old-fashioned, fundamental, independent, soul-winning, local Baptist church, with a heart for reaching the city of Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Port Hueneme and the world for Christ.

All preaching and teaching is from the King James Bible, God's inspired and perfectly preserved word in English. We invite you to attend our services and be a part of what God is doing at FBC in the city of Ventura.

Although, the King James Bible is FBCs guidebook for doctrine and conduct, you will find neither a stuffy nor a judgmental atmosphere.  Instead, usually waiting for you even before entering the church doors is a friendly greeter with a warm welcome, a handshake, and a current up-to-date bulletin of the church's news, schedules, and activities.  Pastor and the church work hard each week to ensure that the time you invest is enjoyable and a life-enhancing experience as well.

You will soon notice our emphasis is on the Bible. Whether you hear the pastor, or a guest preacher, there will be a consistent and faithful presentation of what the Bible says. Every effort will be made to help you understand the words of the Lord and to encourage you to apply their truths to your day to day life.

Sunday School Classes are available for all ages and stages of life.  Adults, teens, and children alike will discover practical and relevant teaching from God's Word in a friendy and relaxed atmosphere. Smaller children and infants are lovingly cared for by our nursery ladies during all service times. Our services are held on Sunday morning, evening, and Wednesday night.

After our meetings formally close, it is not unusual for people to linger for a while, enjoying the fellowship of true friends. Life-long relationships are made and strengthened as folks get to know one another after church. Those friendships grow even more as people get involved in serving together in the church.

If you are looking for a church or just visiting the area, please come and join us.  We will be glad to have you. We hope and pray that God will bless your heart.
